Oldest Pub in Croydon title with logo

There's no one quite like us

Did you know that we are the oldest pub in Croydon, and that our centerpiece island bar was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel? Standing proudly in Surrey Street, we have a long history of serving our local community and we have even hosted Royalty. So whether you’re having a catch-up with friends, family, or you fancy having a business meeting in a more casual setting, landlady and landlord Lesley and Mark, with 50 years of experience running pubs between them and having spent the last 9 years at the Dog and Bull will, alongside their friendly team, ensure you have the best experience possible.

In 1276, the Dog and Bull was called The Bell. Our pub has always been in the thick of things, standing in busy Surrey Street market.
